visual learning

I don't understand exactly what that means. I guess that is because I am linear verbal learner.

few and far between

Damn, I am surprised to see comments to my posts from totally random americans trying to sell me crap. It makes me paranoid to use words like "pampers" or "ipod" or "appleton wisonsin" or "skateboard" how about "stilton cheese?"

Since I am just posting occasional blatherings, it irritates me to no end that some avaricious gun-toting bible thumper is commenting on my posts about the glories of living in hot springs arkansas. I wouldn't go there if you paid me. I bet it is a great place for dentists and RV dealers though.

wetlands

Even though I live in the middle of a huge city surrouded by development for miles and miles, http://tinyurl.com/deh5h I am often reminded that I am in the middle of wetlands. Yesterday I was walking to work and I saw hordes of gnats massing over the soaked grass. There were about half a dozen dragonflies dive bombing in and out of the cloud sucking the gnats up like a dyson vaccuum cleaner.

tarball?? huh?

Whenever I dowload a new Open Source application, I get the option to get the i86 installer edition, (either .exe or .zip) but there are options there to get the tarball, or the .tar or .gz files. I don't know eough to install these files, but I'd like to know enough. I think I would need to have the appropriate code compilers to make it work. Maybe if I throw this thought out into the ether I will find a answer.

plannerplanner

Dude! wedding planning is hard! We've been doing this for months and months, and it keeps coming! Everytime I look at the list it seems to grow istead of shrink.

I played with some little kids today, Elizabeth and Luna Mae Solleder from Hot Springs Arkansas. Their Mom Shea Childs is a good friend of elizabeth and we all went to breakfast at Letizia's on Damen. I kept the kids occupied with viewmasters and singig row row row your boat while the ladies talked.

My new computer is great, but I do't think the video card was installed right, or I didn't get the drivers with the original packaging. The site I bought it from has't responded to my email either. grumble grumble. Me want service now!
